A lot more can be copied from the detailed reinforcement design provided by the manufacturer than just the individual bars.
The BFW module 3D import/export (that processes data from the drawing software for reinforcements) has the ability to show 3D models of separate bars as well as the coherent construction.
During import, BFW generates the dimensions of the element, or the components from which the element exists.
Therefore, a prefab sketch can be created during the production assignment for loose reinforcement.
Advantages of using 3D import/export
1. Import saves time in the input of the bending schedule.
BFW reads the reinforcement and shows it in 3D form, allowing one to check whether the bars are in the correct position.

2. The measurements no longer have to be drawn manually.
BFW calculates the dimensions and includes these as a sketch after printing of the bending schedule or welding list.
If the dimensions of the bending schedule are changed, the welding list will also automatically change.
The dimensional characteristics are related to the calculation of auxiliary measurements for displaying the marks of the bending schedule.
Longitudinal and transverse and starter bars are then dimensionally displayed.
Furthermore, the handle distance of the baskets and the dimensions of the openings (where applicable) are then displayed.

3. Linked to timekeeping.
The 3D elements of the welding location can be displayed in 3D, allowing openings and lifting provisions to be visible in the reinforcement model.
Employees can register themselves by means of barcode identification as well as RFID chip.
They must then choose a prefab component for welding and press START.
The time will then be recorded; multiple employees can sign up for the same element to be welded.
All new parts are displayed in green.
In order to start another part, the welder only has to select the component and push START.
A separate time recording is then started.

It is important for the welder to have a clear image of his/her workpiece.
For this, 2D and 3D views are available.
The 2D view shows the measured sketch (which can be printed onto paper) and displays the exact position of the handles, hair pins, and bars in several views (such as front and side view):
3D models
The 3D display is intended to show the image of a prefab component.
As a result, openings and lifting provisions can be shown.
In most cases, these cannot be viewed in 2D.
In addition, the 3D view can be rotated, zoomed, and tilted in order to have a better view of the parts to be welded.
